The event will feature delicious food and drink, entertainment, live music, speakers, a raffle and a silent auction of unique artwork on toilet seats, lids and toilets by local Toronto artists including Jen Pilles and Jeremy McCormick of Akin Lansdowne.
About Building Up:
Building Up is a non-profit contractor that provides training and employment in the trades to those who need it most. They provide a mix of on-the-job training and off-site workshops that give trainees the technical skills they will need to pursue a career in the trades as well as the personal support that they will need to maintain it. Building Up seeks a Toronto where people with barriers to employment have an opportunity to fight their communities' social and environmental issues with economically viable solutions. www.buildingup.ca
