Akin Richmond-Bathurst

Located at 579 Richmond Street West, Akin Richmond-Bathurst is on the third and fourth floor of a beautiful old office building, with an open-concept layout, plenty of natural light, exposed brick walls and beautiful hardwood floors throughout the space. Originally a cloak making factory, the building was constructed in 1913. 

Our studio is located on the third and fourth floor of the building. The fourth floor has 46 Dedicated studios (i.e your own studio) ranging from 25sf for $187/month to 155sf for $658/month. The third floor has 37 Dedicated studios ranging from 28sf ($201/month) to 136sf ($613/month). There is room for 30 Shared Memberships at $78/month (10 on the third floor, 20 on the fourth floor).

Membership fees include taxes, insurance, wifi, utilities, 24/7 access as well as use of shared shelving units, washroom, communal working areas, and kitchen.

Accessibility Info

There is a step on the street level leading into the main foyer. Once inside, there are an additional 9 steps leading up to the elevator. The elevator takes you up to the fourth floor. The Akin Studio exists on one level of the building, with no stairs within the unit. The two, private, gender neutral bathrooms are inside the unit with a 1 inch step lip leading into each bathroom.
