Angell Gallery presents THE READABLE CITY, featuring installation, sculpture, film, video, collage and photography by Toronto- and Montreal-based artists including Jessica Thalmann of Akin Lansdowne. Curated by associate director Bill Clarke, and taking its title from a phrase in French scholar Michel de Certeau’s essay “Walking in the City”, the exhibition runs from April 8 through 29, with an opening reception on Friday, April 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
