Akin invites you to join us on Saturday, December 15th at Akin Ossington for an afternoon of good cheer at the Akin Holiday Party and Market! We want to celebrate with you! 

In 2018 Akin collaborated with some amazing partners, said goodbye to 2 of our oldest studio locations, opened 2 new studios, King studios and the new Akin Studio Program at MOCA Toronto, celebrated it's 10 year anniversary, and welcomed many more artists to the studios. This party is a celebration for members from all eight Akin studios, as well as our neighbors, community partners, friends and family.

Akin Ossington will be open from 1-7pm. Come and stay for a while. Mingle, enjoy the potluck and browse the market featuring art and objects by Akin members and more!

Dress festive, fun or fancy! Children of all ages welcome, but please no pets. Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided but feel free to BYOB. Food and snacks for the potluck are welcome! Please provide labels for any common allergens. This year we will also be collecting mittens and socks for the Red Door family shelter here in Toronto.

By TTC:
Akin Ossington is a short walking distance from Ossington Subway Station or an even shorter bus ride on the 63 Ossington Bus which runs frequently. It is also accessible by the 26 Dupont Bus.

By car:
There is no reserved onsite parking.

Accessibility:
Akin Ossington is not currently wheelchair accessible. Akin regrets this barrier to access. There is a loading bay on the east side of the building.

The Akin entrance is on the east side of the building. There are 10 steps to access this entrance.

Once you are in the building the hallways and studios are level throughout. There are two step-free gender-neutral bathrooms. There are no grab bars in the washroom and the toilets are not raised.
