The flowers are finally coming out! And with it came a new installation at the Akin Vitrine Gallery, Colours of Spring by glass artist Liliana Botero. Viewable 24/7 from the sidewalk, the Akin Vitrine Gallery is located at 1747 St Clair Ave W, be sure to check it out. Colours of Spring will be up until the end of May. 

Colours of Spring is an evolving installation of ceramics, stained glass, fused glass, flame work and mosaic. Over the two months of the installation, Colours of Spring will grow and change along with the season, ending around Mothers day. All of the pieces in the exhibition are for sale and make perfect mothers day gifts with prices starting at $35. You can also contact Liliana (@destellosglassart) to book a workshop to learn to make these pieces yourself.
