The City believes all Torontonians should have safe, secure, affordable and well-maintained homes where they can realize their full potential. Over the next year, The City of Toronto will be working with all housing stakeholders and the public to develop a comprehensive solutions-based plan to address housing and homelessness challenges over the next decade. The public engagement process is launched and they want to hear from you!

The City is hosting an International Public Panel Discussion on Housing on June 12 2019. Panelists from Vancouver, Chicago, and Cleveland will present inspiring ideas and lessons learned on eliminating homelessness, creating mixed-income communities and boosting the supply of affordable housing in cities across North America.

This event is open to all City of Toronto residents, however space is limited. Please RSVP through this page to secure a spot. The City will record this event and share the recording publically, through the Housing TO website (toronto.ca/housingplan).

The City of Toronto needs your ideas and input to shape the HousingTO 2020-2030 Action Plan. The Plan aims to ensure that the City is taking actions to advance a housing landscape that works for all Torontonians. Your voice is important as they build this plan.

The City plays many important roles in housing: it decides what kinds of homes can be built, and where, ensures rental homes are in acceptable condition, and provides critical services to those who are struggling to find and keep a home.

This questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
