We’re excited to announce that signups for the Remote Gallery Rush List are now open to the public! This is an exciting opportunity to offer our community greater access to the space at significantly reduced rates, especially for those who are able to move quickly on last-minute availability.

As a member of the Rush List, you’ll receive monthly emails from Renato, Remote Gallery Manager, sharing available rental dates that are coming up within the coming month. If the timing works for you, you can secure the space at a discounted rate based on how soon your rental begins:

75% off for bookings confirmed one week out.
50% off for bookings confirmed two weeks out.
25% off for bookings confirmed three weeks out.
For Akin Members, this discount is applied on top of your already reduced member rate of 40%, making it an especially valuable opportunity.

REMOTE GALLERY A

Located at 568 Richmond Street West, Remote Gallery is an 850 sqft, street level venue with gallery lighting, floor to ceiling windows, polished concrete floors and occupancy for up to 85 guests. Perfect for exhibitions, pop-ups, workshops and more! The full 850 sqft gallery space can be rented, or the gallery can be divided into two separated spaces which can be rented individually.

Remote Gallery A (450 sqft), Remote Gallery B (400 sqft), or both combined (850 sqft) may be available through the Rush List. Rentals can be as short as one day and up to one week, depending on availability. To secure a date, simply be the first to reply to the availability email.

REMOTE GALLERY B

This program is ideal for artists and creatives looking for professional space, with large windows and substantial foot-traffic. The gallery is perfect for public events like exhibitions, workshops, pop-up shops, art markets, and artist presentations—but it can also be used for private uses like documenting work through photography or film, hosting client or gallerist visits, staging and preparing for an upcoming exhibition elsewhere, or even as short-term studio space for large sculptural projects or installations. We welcome experimental ideas, as long as they are suitable for a gallery environment.
