AKIN: ART HEAR PANEL TALKS @ TORONTO OUTDOOR ART EXHIBITION 2015

September 20, 2016 by Jen Pilles

After many requests here are a series of the recordings from our Art Hear panel discussions back in 2015!

In 2015, Akin Projects' Art Hear programming revolved around public and interventionist art; panel discussions and artists talks will address the role of public art within several contexts including questioning the ownership of public spaces, popular commentary among Toronto artists, the internet as artistic space, the benefits of outdoor art, and new methods of engaging public spaces all centered around the theme of “expectations”. Exciting discussions from Alex Mcleod, David Liss, StART, Bridget Moser, VSVSVS, Shari Orenstein, Sunday Drive Art Projects and more curated and hosted by Michael Vickers of Akin Projects.
