The Toronto East Rotary Club is holding its 10th Annual Arts and Crafts Sale on Saturday, November 16th, 2018, 10:00am – 5:00pm, at Eastminster United Church, at the corner of Danforth and Jackman Avenues (one block west of Chester subway station) with 45+ diverse Artisans selling their creations. Refreshments will be available, together with live music, face painting and a draw. Proceeds raised go to community projects including the Out of the Cold Program at Eastminster. Admission is free.

I am also attaching the application form for the Sale as well as a postcard that we are using for promotion. So far, I have 45 vendors booked and am looking for about 5 more. There is a wide range of artisans creating a variety of different items. If you go to the following link you will find photo albums from some of the previous years’ sales.

The cost to participate is $85.

If you have any questions or wish to apply please contact Karen at amunn@pathcom.com.

November 13, 2016 by Jen Pilles

Emma Aurelia of Akin Lansdowne will be showing work at Take Time Vintage from Friday Nov 11to Friday Dec 6 as a part of All Girls to the Front - a pop-up shop and exhibition.

The goal of the show is to showcase and raise up local/Canadian cis and trans women artists and makers , giving them a fun and affordable way to sell their creations, and giving more folks a chance to access their works!

Emma Aurelia is a Toronto based textile and sound artist. Studying at OCAD University, she received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a specialization in Fibre.

Take Time is a vintage, thrift and craft shop based out of Guelph, ON. After the better part of a year of pop-up shops, markets and festivals all over Ontario, Take Time has opened a bricks and mortar shop in the heart of downtown Guelph.
